How We Started
The website for the Association of Small Businesses of Owasso was born out of a need to create a central hub where local entrepreneurs, community members, and business leaders could connect, learn, and grow together. Our vision was to design a platform that reflects the strength and spirit of Owasso’s small business community—modern, welcoming, and easy to navigate.
Project Process
Research & Discovery
We began by exploring successful community and membership-based websites to understand how they communicate value and foster engagement. This research guided us in shaping a structure that prioritizes accessibility, clear communication, and a sense of local pride.
Wireframing & Content Planning
From there, we developed wireframes focused on clarity and usability. Every section was thoughtfully placed to highlight the association’s mission, benefits, events, and resources—ensuring visitors can easily find what they need and feel encouraged to get involved.
UI/UX Design
The design blends professional polish with community warmth. Using Figma, we created a visual identity that incorporates clean layouts, friendly typography, and strategic use of color to reflect Owasso’s vibrant small business culture. The result is a user-centered interface that feels both inviting and trustworthy.
Development & Testing
The site was built on responsive, performance-optimized technology. We tested every feature across devices and browsers to ensure that members, potential partners, and community visitors experience fast loading times, intuitive navigation, and reliable functionality from any device.
